A Newly Married Couple Are In Bed

Once upon a time, there was a newlywed couple named Jack and Jill. They had tied the knot just a few weeks ago and were still basking in the honeymoon glow. As the chilly night settled in, they snuggled under the covers in their cozy bed, enjoying the warmth of each other’s presence.

Jack, feeling particularly bold, decided to broach a topic that had been nagging at the back of his mind since their wedding day. With a nervous gulp, he turned to his beloved wife and asked, “Hey, Jill, can I ask you something?”

Jill, caught off guard but ever the supportive partner, replied with a gentle smile, “Of course, darling. What’s on your mind?”

Jack hesitated for a moment, gathering his courage before blurting out the question that had been burning in his mind. “How many men have you slept with before me?”

Silence filled the room as Jack’s question hung in the air, thick with anticipation. Jill’s expression remained neutral as she processed his inquiry, her mind racing with a myriad of thoughts and emotions.

After what felt like an eternity, Jack’s nerves got the better of him, and he asked again, his voice tinged with a hint of desperation, “Just tell me, it’s okay. How many guys have you slept with?”

But still, Jill remained silent, her eyes fixed on a spot on the ceiling as if it held the answer to all of life’s mysteries.

Feeling a mix of frustration and confusion, Jack racked his brain, trying to make sense of his wife’s silence. Was she hiding something? Did she not trust him enough to be honest?

Just as Jack was about to give up hope of ever getting an answer, Jill finally broke her silence, turning to him with a mischievous twinkle in her eye. “Well, darling,” she began with a sly grin, “including you, let’s just say I’ve had enough to start a small football team!”

Jack’s jaw dropped in shock as he realized his mistake. He had fallen right into Jill’s playful trap, and she had outsmarted him with her witty humor.

And as they dissolved into fits of laughter, Jack realized that it didn’t matter how many men Jill had been with before him. What mattered was the love and laughter they shared in that moment, as they embarked on this crazy journey called marriage together.

And so, in that cozy bedroom filled with laughter and love, Jack and Jill learned that sometimes, it’s best not to dwell on the past but to cherish the present and look forward to the future, no matter how many skeletons may be hiding in the closet (or under the bed).
